[Segtex] Testing segtex

Thank you for the list!

I have several things to discuss.

1. Is it time to update SEG.bib for 2004? If Karen Wolf (or whoever is 
responsible) can dump the database in a text file, I will do the conversion. 

2. The bibtex produced from searches at the SEG website is incorrect (it 
outputs @inproceedings instead of @article, etc.), and I have heard people 
complaining about it. What language is http://seg.org/cgi-bin/dci.cgi written 
in? How does it do the conversion? Can we fix it easily?

3. The current working version of segtex2e has changed the server. If you have 
been using Subversion to access it before, please run

svn switch --relocate http://begpc132.beg.utexas.edu/svn/texmf/trunk \ 
http://egl.beg.utexas.edu/svn/texmf/trunk

Any suggestions are welcome.

4. I have modified the example file. The source is at 
http://egl.beg.utexas.edu/viewcvs/trunk/tex/latex/seg/geophysics_example.ltx?root=texmf&view=markup
and the PDF output for "manuscript" and "paper" versions are attached. Please 
let me know if you have any suggestions on how to improve it.

5. Can we discuss the TODO list and its prioritization?

Things that should be done before releasing the package:
 
- Polish the documentation
- Separate seg.sty from geophysics.cls
- Add segabs.cls (eage.cls, georeport.cls, geobook.cls)
- Rename seglike.bst to seg.bst
- Have it tested and approved at places with many LaTeX users like SEP and CWP
- Fix the paper size for A4 paper (Europe and other continents)
- Anything else?
