Felix,
You can use the optional argument to \plot and \multiplot:
\plot[b]{figure}... will try to put the figure at the page bottom,
\plot[p]{figure}... will try to push the figure to the last page, etc.
The default argument is [htbp], which specifies the usual LaTeX
preference in placing figures: here-top-bottom-page. Try [!h] to
enforce placing figures where you really want them even when LaTeX
disagrees. See also
