[Segtex] Problem with lclass="geophysics",options="twocolumn"

Dear all,

I am trying to compile my LaTeX document using  
lclass="geophysics",options="twocolumn" but it consistently returns  
the following error:

Interestingly, if I use no options (or lclass="segabs" with no  
options), everything works! Any clue what is happening?
